Guided by the changing light, the atmosphere and the present moment, each piece evolves intuitively into a landscape that exists somewhere between memory and imagination. Rather than capturing a place, I hope to evoke a feeling. Painted from presence, not perfection.
Rather than beginning with a fixed idea, I stay present and allow the painting to reveal itself to me. Each painting introduces itself in its own time.
Finding Light Through Darkness Series
A triumph of light breaking through darkness, Lumen captures the power of illumination arriving after shadow. Dramatic skies part to reveal a luminous opening, casting reflected light across still water . Painted in layered blues and palette knife rich texture. Darkness is not an ending but as the space through which light becomes most meaningful.

Moonlight was inspired by those rare, peaceful moments when the clouds quietly part and the moon casts its light across the sea. I wanted to capture the stillness that seems to settle over everything in that brief moment, when the world feels calm, time slows and the landscape is changes into something magical by that light.
